ISWA is official supporter of Vinitaly International Academy Verona 2023 – Masterclass coming soon

Vinitaly International Academy (VIA) is Vinitaly’s educational structure and a milestone for the promotion of Italian wine around the world. VIA offers a complete training pathway, structured in progressive and standard levels, to provide solid preparation for the diversity of Italian wine. The scientific focus is on the characteristics of Italy’s native grape varieties, the biodiversity of the 20 regions, their history, culture and specific businesses. After the study part on the online platform, the in-person module is scheduled to take place in Verona from 23 to 27 March. It will be attended by some 60 ambassadors and expert candidates from the USA, Europe and Asia.

ISWA will star in the masterclass scheduled for 23 March, alongside Faculty speakers Sarah Heller (multi-award winning Master of Wine) and Henry Davar (IWE Wine Expert & Educator).

The masterclass will be titled ‘Vintage 2016 – Region by Region‘, with an in-depth study of the 2016 vintageand its peculiarities in the different production areas. The masterclass will also focus on producers’ strategies in response to climate change.
