A contemporary and sustainable take on wine tourism
Located in the heart of San Martino sulla Marrucina’s vineyards, Cascina di Chiara “The old Palm” is a modern, energy-self-sufficient wine tourism facility, born from the skilful eco-sustainable restoration of a 19th-century rural dwelling in Abruzzo. The green and earthquake-proof intervention has increased the building’s efficiency and safety, making it one of Abruzzo’s first certified earthquake-proof wine tourism facilities. With five rooms and one independent flat, it offers a flexible and customised way of staying, from where to explore the beauty of Abruzzo’s hinterland.
Contemporary design and pop culture-inspired details remark the interior of the Cascina, consisting of five bright rooms and one comfortable independent flat, available for short or long periods. Thanks to broadband Wi-Fi in all areas, Cascina di Chiara is also the ideal place to serenely dedicate yourself to remote working between horseback and bike rides. A place to enjoy one’s privacy, but also spaces for sharing and reading, to transform each stay into an experience tailored to one’s needs.
