Right here, over 700 years ago, the Frescobaldi family began its adventure in the world of wine. On the hills of the Val di Pesa, thanks to the mineral properties of the soil, a mild climate and breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea, the estate became the first production centre of what was to become a long and flourishing winemaking tradition.
